GEDonline was created and is operated by Diversified Computer Services, a private company based in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The GED preparation service has been in operation since July 1, 2000 and was developed because we saw the need for an affordable and accessible service. English and Spanish versions are available.


GEDonline is set up to track the progress of a student through the official GED practice tests and the GEDonline practice lessons until the student is ready to take the GED Test. This personalized approach is achieved by assigning a unique student ID number, username, and password to each student.

We can provide your organization with a site license for the GEDonline service. The site license will allow an unlimited number of students to register and use the GEDonline software for a one-year period. The site license is issued to one physical location. All students must access GEDonline from this location. Remote access is allowed for libraries if the student is registered through the library site license. Multiple site licenses can be purchased if you have more than one physical site.

 

  

Two versions of site licensing are available. The first is an online version through which your students log into our web site. The cost is $650.00 per year.
The second is an offline version. Our software is installed on a server in your facility. No Internet connection is required. The cost is $850.00 per year. Either license can be renewed yearly.

All of the students registered through your site license can be monitored through the Site Report option. This option will be included in an administrator account set up for your organization.

Each student has 24/7 access to the GEDonline services which include:

  • immediate grading of the Official GED Practice Tests
  • multimedia practice lessons for all five GED subjects
  • essay grading ($10 charge per essay graded)
  • help through knowledgebase and question/answer form
  • tracking of individual progress
  • activity reporting
  • English or Spanish versions
